Solar’s price drop is astonishing: panels are now 98% cheaper than when I first analyzed them in 2004.

Today, building a fence with solar can be cheaper than using wood.

More than embarrassing. Dangerous, with the danger foreseen. Alberta has 38% of measles cases in Canada. It has only 11½% of the Canadian population.
Alberta has more cases than the entire USA.

After almost three decades, Canada has lost its measles elimination status.

That means in 2025, this extremely contagious disease spread consistently in our country for the first time since 1998.

This was preventable, which makes it embarrassing -- in more ways than you might realize:

And why are we losing the war for vaccination? Conservative provincial governments responsible for education & healthcare pandering to anti-vaxxers, underfunding local healthcare, and allowing uninformed, non-medical "personal objections" and religions to overrride public health demands. #cdnpoli

Talked about the prospect of another pipeline and Carney's recent comments on my Monday political panel.

As I said, the biggest impediment isn't regulations or even Indigenous opposition but the lack of a viable business case.

The most important driver of Canada's long-term economic success isn't a new pipeline or some other infrastructure project. It's getting immigration right — and capitalizing on the opportunity Trump is handing us on it. #cdnpoli

Donald Trump's immigration policy is a gift to Canada
Canada’s ability to integrate people from around the world has long been a source of comparative strength. It's all the more important right now.

UPDATE: Canada has announced that it has lost its measles elimination status.

This is a direct result of the increase in anti-vax disinformation, which has caused large, sustained outbreaks in the country over the last year.

Great piece Marc!

"Invoking the notwithstanding clause to short-circuit collective bargaining makes a mockery of the democratic process. It tells educators, parents, and students alike that your voices don’t count."

Trump every time he’s confronted about one of his lies: “Who are you with?”

Reporter: Gives name of company.

Trump: You’re fake news. You’re terrible. I’m not calling on you anymore! You should be ashamed of yourself! This is why nobody watches you!

Then goes back to lying.
