Protecting the most endangered wins.

Fighting back against hatred wins.

Conviction in your principles wins.

Actually believing in something wins!

We saw that last night, and that's the blueprint for how we take our country back.
1. On Tuesday Night, Democrats won elections nationwide in a stunning rebuke of anti-transgender politics.

From Virginia to New Jersey to New York and beyond, anti-trans candidates fell left and right after spending tons of time and money campaigning on hate.

@aoc.bsky.social says of Mamdani victory: "A lot of people...are willing to talk about party unity when it serves them, but not party unity when it serves everybody."

"We have a future to fight for, and we're either going to do that together or you're going to be left behind."

I’m as Zohran-pilled as possible, and his win is awesome, but let’s not lose sight of the fact that one of the slimiest, most repulsive people in American politics finally got a small piece of the humiliation he so richly deserves

Hmmmm I wonder what could have happened shortly after 2019 that might have had an impact 🤔

I love that Zohran did not praise Cuomo in his speech. You absolutely do not have to say nice things about bad people. We should normalize that in “polite” politics: Praising bad people is not actually “civility.”
When you see socialism=bad, just remember who it’s actually bad for.
Socialism is good for everybody except the uber wealthy becoming slightly less ridiculously wealthy. The only people who stand to lose from socialism are the ones buying up all news media, who donate enough money to campaigns they can effectively puppeteer candidates willing to take their money.
Nothing like fireworks to celebrate a victory

and if it was effective at all in 2024 it wasnt the salience of transphobia, it’s that they launched it out of a 300mm dollar media cannon or $44.3 billion depending how you want to do the accounting on twitter
Again and again you see people claiming that Trump's "Kamala is for they/them" ad was decisive in 2024; they do so without meaningful evidence. Assertion after unproven assertion. In column after column, interview after interview.

Well, here's yet more proof--after years of the same.

As many have pointed out, Mamdani didn't stand apart from our trans brothers and sisters. He didn't play the "Gee, gosh, it sure is complicated," milquetoast moderate card. And he crushed.

The way forward is together, not over the bodies of our own.

Mamdani going so hard for trans right and winning is some juicy proof that every dem that abandoned us didn’t do it for politically advantageous reasons. They did it because they’re transphobes and they will lose for it

So many times SO MANY TIMES I have said I don't trust any politician who throws trans people and immigrants under the bus.

Look at this dude. LOOK AT THIS. He's here for ALL OF US.

There is NO EXCUSE for any politician who doesn't step up like this. No excuse.
"in this moment of political darkness, new york will be the light

"whether you are an immigrant, a member of the trans community one of the many black women that donald trump who has fired from her job... your struggle is ours too"
