I've shut off a few movies recently after realizing quickly that they weren't going to grab me (life is short!).

Worst: a Cabbage Patch doll named Adolf (my Mom wrote an angry letter and they sent us a replacement birth certificate)

Typically I enjoy when a toy company gives names to their stuffed animals but I have to say I was a little surprised when someone gave my kid a stuffed animal with my estranged father’s full name.

Just want to point out that I watch Last Week Tonight every week and, when it's over, the HBO Max app automatically assumes I'd want to watch Real Time and I wonder how much of the ratings is based on people who are involuntarily fed Bill Maher like this.

I absolutely adore Brittany. In my 20s I did a bunch of work as an extra in between production gigs. I was background as an American Bandstand dancer on 6 eps American Dreams. She was just a teen and the lead. Just the sweetest, most professional, most talented cutie. I ♥️ seeing her thrive.

I can't stop thinking about Debra Messing saying that in Islam you are "commanded to lie". She's doing exactly what antisemites do when they willfully misinterpret the Talmud to smear Jews.
I had some incredibly depressing conversations with older Jews just before the election. One likened Mamdani to Trump lying about Project 2025. They sincerely believe his goal as mayor is to harm Jews.
This is a stunning political realignment--Mamdani lost Jews, Catholics, and Protestants but won by sweeping "Other" and "None."
As a Jewish voter in the 33% I hope my neighbors (literally) in the 63%, who were flooded with dishonest mailers, social media, and texts, will now keep an open mind.
