It honestly makes me feel insane, how not-reality-based it all is.

Having a kid with high support needs is hard in America! But the whole “this is worse than pediatric cancer and AIDS combined” thing is literally just the autism community. The Down syndrome community isn’t like this.

The tension between “ubiquitous poorly-trained stormtrooper” and “rare elite stormtrooper” goes back to the very start of the franchise.

Andor’s focus on fascist inefficiency helps resolve it—the Waffen SS was a parallel “elite” force but in no way lived up to its carefully cultivated reputation.

It’s not “unthinkable” to be targeted by abusive and unfair prosecutions of you’re poor, PoC, LGBTQIA+…so we have created legal, procedural, psychological grounds to expand judicial tyranny to any undesirable

And the moral arc of the universe is awfully long but climate change isn’t doing anyone any favors over there in that time.

But a lightning-fast blitz that repurposes Trump's new powers for good stands the best chance of standing up in court. Democrats need to start thinking about this right now.
