Also I didn’t immediately hate the scene! And this is the first time I’ve written anything since early August! To be fair I was trying to recover from tendonitis most of August & all of September, plus I’ve been prewriting.

AND my body rn isn’t hurting too bad considering I wrote for 6+ hrs today!

I finished the first scene! It’s 2,142 words long. I’m fucked, aren’t I? 😭

I know it’s a longass scene, but to be fair there’s a lot of information the character needs to learn, and this is the most worldbuilding I’ve done in a looooong time. So maybe it’s okay. Maybe. 😬

Laying down the final coordinates for this story before I start drafting “soon”. I’ve cried as much today as I did when writing the penultimate scene of Negative Scholarship, but that scene was the climax of that story and THIS is only late-stage prewriting. I don’t even wanna think about drafting.

Someone in my circle keeps saying we need community to get thru this dark moment. Yeah I agree but also it takes an hour to get anywhere if you don’t have a car and I get motion sick and fucking exhausted and my body is crumbling, the only community I can have is with my pillows. My fault, I guess.
