Bingo.
If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

"Siri, what does pointless and intrusive gatekeeping look like?"
The “Pathways” trial is, IMO on more than one level, a thoroughly unethical piece of “research” to be carrying out on children, especially children who are part of a marginalised minority.

Round here we need folks who will do this thing called "work". In return, local employers give them cash, seems like a good deal. People who move to my home town get a particular status: "neighbours". And we don't let the Gestapo take our neighbours. Fairly sure that's clear.
Immigration policy was never motivated by "excessive generosity" on behalf of the UK.

Immigration policy is determined by the state's self-interest, pulled way one or another by the struggles of migrants and pressure from capital.

Home secretary to tackle UK's 'excessive generosity' with sweeping immigration reforms
In a statement to MPs on Monday, Shabana Mahmood is expected to tighten up the rules to allow for more deportations, and reduce the "pull factors" that attract migrants to the UK.

when you understand that patriarchy views children as sexual property it all makes sense. there's no hypocrisy. exposure to queerness & transness threatens to "corrupt" the father's property, to "lead them astray" into self-determination, to taint their future sexual value. CSA is permissible as >
Thatcher's government did this with Section 28, banned the "promotion of homosexuality" as a danger to children, while actively protecting Jimmy Savile and who knows how many other pedophiles. It's the same damn playbook.
I cannot begin to properly articulate how upsetting it is to have had people baselessly accuse trans people of being groomers and pedophiles only for it to come out that they were deliberately doing this as part of a project to provide cover to actual groomers and pedophiles in positions of power

The soft pedaling language being used to describe the men in the Epstein files is enraging.

They didn’t “have sex with underage girls”.

They raped them.

Sex implies consent.

The survivors deserve better than this. Use the correct language. Say what these men did.

Still slightly shocked that folks didn't have to launch a judicial review or report anyone to the International Criminal Court for this to happen. The US really must have shat the bed.
The Brits have stopped sharing drug trafficking intel w/us in the Caribbean, Latin American region. They believe our extra judicial killings are illegal. If you’ve worked on this stuff or w/ the Brits, you know this is really a big deal. DOD folks—your professional liability insurance won’t work.

All sounds a bit goose-steppy, sieg-heil-y to me. Little bit arbeit-macht-frei-y.
Remember in the UK it's not:

Transphobia, it's gender critical
Islamaphobia, it's Muslim critical
Racism, it's race critical
Homophobia, it's same sex critical

All dogwhistles used to undermine and gaslight minorities.

I am expecting the self-styled protectors of women's rights to get on this. That Harry Potter money will come rolling in. Accompanied by the champions in the right wing press. Any time now. Or is it likely that because it involves challenging the wealthy & powerful, that has no chance of happening?

Please read this statement by Anne Health.

Trans children are being subjected by Sussex NHS to the physical torture of being forcibly detransitioned.

This is unnecessary cruelty and in my view constitutes torture, violence and child abuse on the part of NHS Sussex.

The narrative of supposedly despicable outsiders seizing women as justification for war goes back to Paris and Helen in the Iliad. Heck, it was understood to be massively destructive even then.
This is what is happening. It is cynical. It is strategic. It is organised. It is well funded.

And we need to pay attention.

The far right - and their cheerleaders, mimics, tribute acts, and handmaidens have identified two presentational frameworks that give them cut-through and traction. 1/7

Then I obtained a letter to the Heritage board from anonymous staffers that alleged the same thing — and more.

Heritage is aware that alleged behavior could create legal trouble.
