By the way for the record yes I'm trans and no I'm not talking about trans women who have this headcanon because that's completely different, what I'm seeing is a swath of weirdo non trans women fetishization that manages to be at once transphobic and homophobic in one fell swoop.

I was literally told about it for the first time yesterday and went oh ok ill stop doing that, didn't know. Which like .. yeah we had this convo with transsexual, ftm/mtf, and so on. It's a pretty normal part of marginalized community nomenclature to have to move on from stuff

People online love to assume I'm both cis and white which is a prevalent issue for some reason, a case of (often white) people judging a book by its cover and assuming an awful lot about a person. I learned about this literally yesterday. This has not yet reached my community in the real world.

I think the important caveat here also is I'm talking about a large swath of people discussing this headcanon who are notably Not trans women. This discussion is very different in-community, but outside of the community it manages to be both homophobic and fetishizing and transphobic all in one
