Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against women, a day of education, activism, mourning, and solidarity with other survivors. 1 in 3 women worldwide have experienced physical or sexuaI violence from an intimate partner, today and all days we must work to help change this

Probably won’t see this in mainstream media - aka the right wing press - coz it’s against their narrative. Wind energy in Britain broke a new record last week with nearly 23GW on the grid one cold windy evening. That was 56% of all electricity on Britain’s grid.

Up to 7m extra working-age people could be denied minimum standard of living in retirement if UK state pension triple lock is ditched.

Neoliberals squeeze wages and call for real cuts to pension.

Thousands will die prematurely.

State pension must not be less than the minimum wage

If you disagree with this, you're the problem.
Racism is not justified by immigration levels or rising poverty, unemployment or crime.

It is not justified, period.

I see the rising wave of voices & arguments justifying the rising levels of racism as the most sinister political development in 2025 on the British landscape.
The Home Secretary explaining that the rise in racist violence is, actually, the natural response to higher levels of immigration is a state of affairs that can't exist without the government having largely decided that racist violence is, if not legitimate, at least understandable.

Straight-talking fascist, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood insists her parents “came here legally” and played by the rules. Lucky them.

They were already rich in Pakistan, and they weren't running for their lives...

The very worst people are those that, either themselves or through ancestors, settled in a country through migration, immigration, asylum, colonialism .... now telling everyone else that it's bad and there's no room for anyone else in that country.
Shame on you all

Remember when Labour promised to reduce ppls energy prices? What happened to that? Seems strange that the wholesale price has dramatically reduced, yet prices keep going up. Still not get who Labour are there to protect and enrich?

There's no longer an argument.

As well as being one of the fairest, most equitable places, an Independent Scotland will also be one of the Richest Countries in Europe.

Only a fool doesn't want Scottish Independence.
Having had a progressive 𝗦𝗡𝗣 Government for many years (albeit without all the powers) there are many areas where Scotland has succeeded and England has dropped behind 👏

How i wish I kept the receipts of all the unionist parties giving nicola stick when she tried to bring In measures before Downing Street okayed them. The times they intimated dictatorial behaviour when just trying to keep us all safer. The way they politicised the briefings and had them cancelled.

TAX the rich. They're even requesting it.
UK millionaires say 'we want to pay more tax'.

Why is that UK govts only listen to the rich who resent paying tax and decent wages?

The rich can't feel secure whilst masses live in poverty. Poor people can't buy goods/services to boost the economy.

We don't need to "protect our borders"

Our biggest threat doesn't need to cross a border to harm us.

From a yacht, billionaires can move markets, pressure govs, dodge taxes & bankroll politicians to rewrite our laws.

The threat isn't the "outsider"

It's the concentrated power already inside.

This
Deep breath, once more for those at the back, seeking asylum is not illegal. No matter route used, which considering Labour has closed pretty much all the last remaining alternatives means irregular ones.
Anti-immigration sentiments are stoked by politicians like Mahmood, not people seeking safety.
