Northern Illinois announced they'd also be putting gymnastics in the MWC. Sac State is gonna need to find a home for gymnastics with SUU moving their team to the Pac-12. If Sac State football moves to the MAC, could gymnastics follow?

This is what's concerned me about AI: it can eliminate enough jobs to wreck things. What happens when too many people can't get enough work to afford to live?
I'm not worried about AI becoming a better writer or reporter than I am. I'm confident I can beat the machines for a while yet.
But if AI nukes enough white collars jobs, that won't matter. There won't be enough people to buy (or pay to advertize in) my stuff. And THAT is already happening!

The assumption that the internet is forever has led to a ton of stuff getting lost forever because they only existed on a website or server that nobody bothered to back up.
It's sometimes easier to find college football info from 1903 than from 2003.

I think that's a point that will surprise a lot of people. There's a lot of calling the internet capable of accessing "the sum of all human knowledge" and such that I think gives people the impression that any and all records exist online somewhere.
