Vibecoding projects 1&2 have been medium successful. Vibe coding project three is refactoring our implementation layer of an obscure-ish library that I've been stapling terrible little fixes onto for years and, uh, Opus was able to successfully do the needful whereas 6 months ago Sonnet could not.
I feel like I'm three vibe coding projects away from really saving buckets of money for the org and four vibe coding projects away from blowing a hole in the balance sheet you can see from space.

An uncomfortable thought is that the artist, in order to be successful, must in crude terms manipulate us. They must craft for us things that will engage our emotions and move us to feeling, to change the shape of our soul. These basic tools are the same stuff that a malign actor uses for their ends
one thing that would be cool, when prominent creators turn out to be terrible people, would be if we didn't have to go through this performative dance of insisting that their work was never good in the first place.

That this has remained a point of debate or thing to defend amongst online folks is baffling.
