It’s just such a neat little syllogism. America cannot elect a fascist. Therefore, any fascist America elects is not, in fact, a fascist. I would call this baby-brained behavior, but frankly I think my baby is more logical

This really is the purest example I can imagine of a terminal case of pundit brain. This is the end point of American exceptionalism: we will dig our own grave while explaining how we are a people uniquely incapable of digging a grave and this is a garden, actually

This... almost every single VC/Investor I met during the VR hype cycle went to crypto, then to metaverse, now AI and not a single one actually understands but will lecture me on how I am wrong...

It's cool.

the downside of these releases is that a bunch of the most salacious stuff is the result of anonymous tips left on a tip line and people are assuming every one of those is true. you really do need to do a bit more work than that if you care about the truth.

so a LOT of what's been released are anonymous reports and with a case this famous you are gonna get some nuts sending in nonsense. but the repeated references to Robin Leach, Trump and Epstein at the Rancho Palos Verdes golf club make it pretty clear a bunch went on there involving those people.
Did the DOJ really just oopsie "Robin Leach strangled a child at a sex party attended to by multiple Presidents" then redact the whole page or am I becoming Qanon

OK, so Musk was planning to go to Epstein's island, but it's not like he went there with the intent to go to a wild party or something, it was probably just some business. Excuse me, an email just came in.
