Loads of well-meaning but ultimately boring and impotent people on the left insist that "you can't blow up a social relationship". And while capital has continually blown things (and people) up to enforce one, this attitude has robbed us of an important tactic in opposition to all this

This only works if people actually want to interact with you. Otherwise it's just as one-directional and lonely and cripplingly depressing as everything else
I can’t get over how one directional Instagram feels…
I liked old Twitter & now BlueSky because they feel like local pubs you go into and join chats with old mates and new. Instagram feels like you are walking into the backstage at a theatre where everyone is practicing their monologues.

It feels like virtually all the people I've known in my life have at some point just stopped talking to me. I don't really know why. And social media somehow makes it feel worse. I just feel utterly atomized. It's hard going through life this way
