ICE is now claiming it can arrest people without a warrant.

This comes after another internal memo asserting ICE agents can forcibly enter homes without a judicial warrant.

Hello? Democrats cannot let these blatantly unconstitutional actions continue. Not another penny for ICE.

Republicans love adding seats to state Supreme Courts! They've done it three times in recent years. This latest court-packing plan will shift Utah's high court far to the right and possibly flip rulings on abortion and gerrymandering.

Democrats should take note that Rs have deemed this acceptable!

Press statement From Islip Forward: At approximately 9:30 a.m. this morning, federal agents were documented using infrastructure located on the property of the Central Islip Fire Department Station 2, at 110 Wheeler Road-without prior authorization to be on or use that space. When a volunteer with Islip Forward approached to document the activity, federal agents threatened the volunteer with arrest for alleged trespassing, despite the agents themselves operating in an area where no prior permission had been granted. Immediately following this interaction, the Central Islip Fire Department took swift action to protect its property and the public. Temporary restrictions were implemented, including closing the gate to the area being used and preventing external access. The use of municipal fire department property for federal enforcement activity—without authorization-and the subsequent threat directed at a community volunteer raise serious concerns about transparency, overreach, and respect for local institutions. We are deeply grateful to the volunteer firefighters of the Central Islip Fire Department for their decisive and responsible response.

She prosecuted animal cruelty & said "We can't ever find lawyers willing to defend animal abusers. Rapists? Child molesters? Wife beaters? Sure. But animal abusers? Never."

In his email to the company, the CEO said "we’re doubling down on an AI-forward approach – prioritizing AI-focused roles, teams, and ways of working". I WAS working on AI projects including the Pinterest Assistant that soft-launched in October. If you haven't heard about that feature launch, you can find it on Pinterest's own newsroom or with a Google search. I was vocal internally about how our users don't want AI slop or features on the platform, how we as employees are feeling uncomfortable and discouraged about AI, and what I wanted from leadership. Last year, I told my manager I was worried about AI-based layoffs. I was told not to worry. At an onsite, we were told that "in the future", we would all be "managers of AIs". That I would be expected to manage some sort of AI employees, rather than craft and design my own work. Human-made art and design matter. I am never going to stop creating, even if the "home of inspiration" decides that creators are secondary to profits. And not to put too fine a point on it, but a president who ran on eliminating “illegal” immigrants created a ton more “illegal” immigrants by canceling a bunch of actual real legal statuses. He took people off the path that everyone says they want people on.

I genuinely have no idea how to convey this to the American people, but I think the biggest impediment to any kind of immigration reform is that people are convinced that "legal" and "illegal" are immutable, intrinsic categories instead of a rapidly-shifting arbitrary constellation of regulations.
