Nothing excuses terrible behavior, but the social compact goes both ways and a lot of times it seems like the schools have very little concern for the parents doing drop-off/pick-up.

Nor do towns in re: garbage/leaf pickup, landscapers, construction plans..

add in security theater..

Watching antisocial driver behavior in the school drop-off line makes it really clear that the pandemic destroyed whatever few shreds remained of the social compact, just pathological selfishness on display every day

Glad the Mets are changing coaches but imo the manager should've gone too. Even if you like him I can't see what special value he has that would override starting fresh with a whole new crew?

I suspect there are some front office staff that need to go too, too much disconnect.
