I spent 20 minutes trying to force myself not to write a post that would have gotten me a visit from the FBI. So new plan, every time I feel the need to write one of these posts, I’m just putting an unpopular opinion in this thread. Ideally one of these will get me run off BlueSky so I stop posting.

Commercial rum cakes have less alcohol than apple juice (some homemade ones get rum added after baking). There was a bakery in my hometown that made insanely good rum cakes, as a kid I would have loved one for my birthday.

Doesn’t change the fact it’s a shitty thing to do to the brother!

The reason is that there aren’t liberal billionaires! I mean, sure, Taylor Swift and LeBron James exist, but if you look at the Forbes top 50 list it’s Mackenzie Scott and Michael Bloomberg, everyone else is somewhere between “Bush era conservative type” to complete lunatic.
