People who think the idea of "give me ideas" is something genuinely creative people want have literally never experienced the absolute EUPHORIA of a brainstorming breakthrough, either solo or with a human collaborator. They don't understand what is happening when artists create, on a basic level.

We're now finding out that as many as 70,000 people had their government IDs provided to prove their ages leaked by Discord. Like I wrote last week, this is an inherent risk (and made greater by a rushed process) of getting platforms to do age checks

Let us also note that these Predator: Badlands headlines are stupid fucking clickbait and the reason given for its rating was literally that the gore of the movie is mostly alien and android in nature. And our rating standards are sociopathic and decide non-human life doesn't count.

Truly, even the television show Alien: Earth has shown more on-screen gore and dismemberment than all three of the original Alien films.

Let us remember this overton window's shift by the likes of Rob Zombie and the Saw series of films. And note no actual decrease in violence has occurred. Amen.

And that truly, it is nothing but *fucking stupid* for people to bitch about a PG-13 rating, as American standards just became more grotesque.
