See, I can see an argument for the need for a ballroom for the White House. But what the plans are calling for is overkill. It's 90k sqft! And it's supposed to be taller than the main part of the building, from an article I read. And of course it's going to be gaudy as hell.

That happened to me a few months ago. I was working on a squad of terminators, got to about 80% done with them, and then just... didn't want to do them anymore.
