Sat down with AP Thomson's next big hit, "Titanium Court". The demo was beefy and not at all what I expected except, yes, it ended up being on brand for the dev.

Wouldn't you happen to know, a shady guy showed up to give out some demo keys.

"When it comes to publishing Harry Potter, it’s pretty simple: don’t."

Members of a grassroots movement are pressuring Upper Deck Entertainment to not put tabletop money in the hands of a powerful transphobe. So far, they've been met with silence.
Upper Deck is facing concerted online backlash after licensing a Harry Potter CCG
The industry is taking a step against transphobia in tabletop games.

Jeff Bezos makes enough money to fully fund this literally every two minutes.
Former Washington Post journalists have launched a GoFundMe to help repatriate fired staff members who are effectively stranded in foreign countries.

One of the richest men in the world fired them from the paper and didn’t even pay to ensure they got home.

Rowan and I survived a crucible together, and I'll never be able to repay her camaraderie and friendship during the past two years.

I am gutted to be losing her voice on the site, but I'm so excited to see what comes next and have no doubt it will involve kicking ass.
As of earlier this week, I made the official decision to step back entirely from Rascal in any formal editorial capacity. I still function as payroll on a very part time capacity, but I am actively looking for non-games related work.

I haven't seen much criticism on Mouthwashing, and of the stuff I have seen I have always kinda felt like folks were slightly missing the point on certain aspects of it. But this video is the first one to just sort of clearly lay out that the game is about rape culture

No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...

She made key contributions to US cold-war science despite facing huge barriers as a Black woman.

The podcast has always been a place where we can provide a coda to news stories and trending topics without necessarily augmenting our written work. My discussion here with Thomas adopts that framework, and it was both generative and exhausting.

Thanks to everyone who wrote in!
This week's episode of the Rascal Radio Hour podcast is a longer, more casual discussion of the recent Yazeba's Bed & Breakfast article, including questions and criticisms sent in by readers.

It is not fun playing alongside real players who wear the costume of rapists whose philosophy is rooted in enslavement of women

A fresh one from me! I wrote about fandom, what characters "deserve," lesbians and our desire to Return To The Past.

What does it mean to wind back the clock and why does that seem to be *the* thing many folks want from art now?
