Stop falling for the “untrained” narrative.
NEW: Jonathan Ross is former National Guard and Border Patrol and has been part of ICE's SWAT equivalent, a team leader overseeing FBI, ATF, and IRS agents, and a firearms instructor, according to testimony obtained by WIRED. This is from @hudsongiles.bsky.social and me:
ICE Agent Who Reportedly Shot Renee Good Was a Firearms Trainer, Per Testimony
Jonathan Ross told a federal court in December about his professional background, including “hundreds” of encounters with drivers during enforcement actions, according to testimony obtained by WIRED.

Poor, marginalized people are out in the streets every day dragging this party's corpse forward and they legit see us like this. We give them everything, our limited time, money, and energy, and they wont even give us an ounce of respect. If someone said this in front of me I'd end up on the news.
When I was in DC in 2024, I talked to a Capitol Hill staffer about the Gaza protests.

They told me it was a bunch of spoiled rich kids who attend fancy universities trying to be cool. This of course describes most of the people on Capitol Hill.

Right after Renée Good’s disgusting murder, a ICE goon was filmed kicking her memorial candles.
Absolutely vile.

This means just random largely indiscriminate bombings and abductions.

Combined with his rage at arms dealers for not delivering enough weapons for him it means it starts with Mexico and then it just goes on.

They trialed it with Israel and it works. You can just do whatever.

I couldn't sleep all night because of the constant shelling.

My 4mo daughter, Talia, is terrified by the force of the explosions.

There is no safety here, we live in fear and anxiety.

Your support helps us to endure these extremely difficult circumstances.

People really gotta get out of the mindset that politicians are our friends. They're our employees and we're not just allowed but imo are oblogated to be mad at them when they dont do their jobs, and I would hope most *decent* politicians would agree. I'd hate being treated as if I can do no wrong.

In advance of tomorrow’s burnt entrails & discovery of new constitutional “law” that never existed, a reminder of what must be done the second Democrats regain power, if we are ever going to become an actual democracy/republic:
If/when Dems regain control of Congress, the path is clear. No clerks. No building. No shadow docket. Nothing, until the Wizards In Robes stop ignoring the law, data, history, precedent, & the plain meaning of words in the Constitution. And there will be 25, with 9 chosen by lottery for any case.

So lets be clear: Rn, IRL, as a practical matter, cops are "allowed" to kill ppl if they don't do what they say. George Floyd's death wasn't enough to change that. Perhaps this white mom's death will spur change. But whenever we finally say cops are "not allowed" to do this, it will be a new thing.

The reason overreach is able to happen now is that, when it happened to minority groups that Dems were too cowardly to fight for, they joined with Rs to strip away rights and limit recourse (the Ann Richards/Bill Clinton model). Now, w/ those evil precedents set, chickens are coming home to roost.

Never mind that this isn’t the definition of doxing in the first place, but you can’t dox a federal employee. If you’re a public servant, your identity isn’t “hidden.” It’s on public records. People can access those public records.

I don’t find it productive to shame people for ‘showing up late’ wrt to social awareness. We all show up when we show up. But I strongly encourage new people who show up to do so while assuming a listening posture. I promise, we’ve heard your ideas & opinions before, back when we were less informed.
