I can't stop thinking about what Bezos has done to the Washington Post. But I also don't know why I & anyone else is shocked. I went undercover in an Amazon 'fulfilment centre' in 2013 and saw first-hand exactly who Bezos is.

We have all been SO naive.

Sounds like you are covering up for him. I am employed in the tech industry. The background checks that I have to go through, are extremely thorough, as I do from time to time work with sensitive information. Security services would’ve done the same for Mandelson and informed Labour leadership.
Labour MPs & party insiders tell me they’ve never seen Keir Starmer so angry as over Mandelson’s lies about Epstein links.

But those who know him well say that anger has now turned inwards. That Starmer is, above all else, a man of public service, and will be grappling with his conscious this w/e.

Hilarious the way these Twitter rubes (who think they're the sophisticated ones!) think they're not in an echo chamber - surrounded by bots and promoted posts - that is specifically designed to be that by some of the worst people on the planet. And this guy writes books thinking he knows what's up

The Taoiseach says an outright ban is unconstitutional – the Social Democrats don't accept that excuse.

The govt needs to act stronger on this.

Politicians tell us they can fix poverty with economic growth, or labour market reforms, or easy money.

But all of these fixes just obscure the fact that the poverty of those at the bottom is a direct consequence of the wealth of those at the top. graceblakeley.substack.com/p/the-uk-is-...

Record levels of very deep poverty expose the true cost of austerity, inflation and the concentration of power at the top.

Exactly the same reason why e.g. the Iraq War report and Forde were instantly binned and never mentioned again: the lads wanted to keep interviewing these horrible people and inviting them on television. And you can’t do that if everyone hates them and won’t vote for their projects.
I suspect this is one of the reasons Mandelson always managed to get back into politics: most of the media approved of what he wanted to do, particularly in terms of the regular purges of the left (under Kinnock and Blair, as well as against Corbyn).
"Peter Mandelson, the architect of New Labour, has said he is working every day to undermine Jeremy Corbyn"

It's a good time to remind people, a lot of the smear campaign against Jeremy Corbyn, in the media, was orchestrated by Peter Mandelson.

People providing counselling services in Ireland are poorly regulated. The colleges providing counselling courses, the accreditation of course providers, the qualifications that legitimise practice require far better scrutiny and regulation.

That being said, counselling records can't be relied upon
