F. I’m sorry. That’s awful.

I haven’t watched it, but that would also irritate.

I cannot stress just how true and important this is.

Outrageous! The moon rotation in this shot of
The Lion King remake implies it was shot far into the northern hemisphere. What happened to realism? Literally unwatchable.
Screenshot of shot with the full moon rising in front of Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa. Below are three moon diagrams showing the proper orientation of the moon from the northern hemisphere, equator (Kenya) and southern hemisphere. The moon from the film is aligned to the northern hemisphere version because realism means nothing any longer.

I had the exact same reaction when I saw the Georgia trees in Stranger Things supposedly set in Indiana.

Just completely broke my immersion. 😃

A very small red masdevallia from the greenhouse. Don’t know the species, but a brilliant red.
A red masdevallia flower against a black plastic mesh. The flower is bright red with darker stripes in the throat. The flower looks square, but is actually more upside down heart shaped with long tips at each point of the heart. Hearts have three tips right?

I was going to suggest an Osprey book. Great resources b

I mean…. Everyone should read SWORDHEART.

I think you are right on pandurata, better to suggest the commoner one.

I should know what this is because it’s very distinctive. I do know it’s a coelogyne.
A green coelogyne flower with black stripes and details in the column and lip. Behind is a large green leaf and a workbench out of focus.

Paph delenatii? Maybe, maybe not. Gorgeous in any case.
A pink paphiopedilum flower with darker veining on the petals and a darker patch with a tinge of yellow in the center. The pouch is white fading to dark pink.

this has been my thought exactly with all of these funding resolutions

like, why would I agree to shit if Trump is just gonna impound it and do whatever he wants, regardless of how the money is appropriated? if y'all want our funding decisions to be meaningless, let's not have em

So let's play this out: Dems hold the line on the actual big picture constitutional lawlessness issues, which Trump/GOP would never concede and any deal with them would be worthless anyway. What good are concessions in legislation and appropriations from a guy who breaks those with impunity? 1/

I freaking hate the app for the laundry machines. The machines keep failing and won’t let me ask for any more refunds from their janky machines.

It’s really the correct answer (for me). I bring it up all the time in game discussions.

Do you have a ttrpg that in your opinion is so under celebrated that you have appointed yourself head of the PR committee for that game? Where on at least one occasion someone mistakenly assumed you must have worked on it but really you're just unwell about it?

What's that game to you?
dandrobium.bsky.social
I feel that. I hope the move was for good reasons.

Pretty good advice. I wish I’d done more of this.

I'm hesitant to give advice to under-30s because my life was a mess for most of my twenties and any advice I might have gotten was impossible to follow.

But...if you can manage these, which many can't, I know:

- set aside $50-$100 a month, every month.

- turn off the tv & work on your art.

From the greenhouse some tolumnia flowers. #bloomscrolling #orchids
Several pink orchid flowers against a grey background and some green leaves. A tuft of Spanish moss is visible. The flowers look like a lady in a fancy pink dress with a yellow belt.
dandrobium.bsky.social
Oh! I love the moss on the golem itself! Great touch.

#bloomscrolling #orchids a phalaenopsis flower from the greenhouse. Again, I don’t know the precise cross or species.
A phalaenopsis flower above a gray stone pot with green leaves in the background. The flower is starry, yellow with orange bands the column is white and the lip is orange at the base and fuscia at the tip.
