The night raids have already begun, going after an activist in Minneapolis. I guess Walz is getting what he wanted, what he thought was best, after all. Liberal Dems enable this fascism every chance they get.

How would they even know if they’re ICE? An ID that says “real America defender” written in fucking crayon?

The Trump admin is ALSO changing the rules so that rather than 30 days to file a Notice of Appeal, people will now only have 10 days (in most cases).

That's just 10 days to find $1,000 and appellate counsel for an appeal the government says it will likely automatically deny!

The appeal to the federal circuit court ALSO costs $600. So now anyone who loses in immigration has to pay $1,000 to be automatically denied in nearly every case, and then $600 to seek an emergency stay of their imminent deportation.

AND THIS APPLIES EVEN TO PEOPLE IN DETENTION.

JUST IN: A federal judge has barred ICE and DHS from using taxpayer information provided by the IRS.

Judge Talwani says that DHS' view that noncitizens lack 4th amendment rights — combined with ICE use of administrative warrants — is a recipe for abuse.

The Wyden Siren: Senator’s Cryptic CIA Letter Follows A Pattern That’s Never Been Wrong
If you've been paying attention to surveillance and civil liberties issues over the past fifteen years, you've likely learned to recognize a particular pattern. Senator Ron Wyden will occasionally send a public letter that essentially says "hey, I can't tell you what's happening because it's classified, but something really bad is going on and you should all be paying attention."

The banality of evil is shocking. An ex-Big Lots warehouse for cheap consumer junk is bought by ICE to ship as many as 7,500 handcuffed human beings, as the Trump regime builds a U.S. gulag archipelago

The unthinkable comes to Pa. coal country. My special report www.inquirer.com/opinion/ice-...
From Big Lots to warehousing humans: ICE plan sparks fear in Schuylkill County | Will Bunch
A massive warehouse in Tremont. Pa. that once moved cheap goods will now detain migrants in an $119 million ICE deal.

That mask is also popular with neo-Nazi accelerationist groups, which I think is really important to mention. Just like it's important to mention that ICE agents in Denver have been dropping Ace of Spades cards where they've kidnapped people. The white nationalist culture at work is clear.
In 2009, this was the mask of a UK SAS character in “Call of Duty.” By 2015 it was de rigeur among Iraqi government commandos and Shiite militiamen. In 2018, in “Sicario 2,” it was what CIA surrogate characters wore to disguise themselves as cartel gunmen.

Now US law enforcement wears it.

The two children who returned to MN today say they saw one of their Valley View schoolmates at a detention center in TX. This is a child whose family was last in contact with the school on January 9. No one has known where they were until now.

Thoughts:

• Much of this is already mandated by law and DHS policy and is being ignored.
• No additional enforcement mechanisms or consequences for its lack are included.
• Ending the MN surge and removing Kristi Noem are noted as things Trump can do, not demands.
• Stephen Miller is not mentioned.

"We shouldn't need a specific court order to ask the DOJ not to put somebody's life in danger."

Facts that bear repeating.

An ICE official told a judge that showing his face would put his life in danger. Turns out his face was on his LinkedIn profile.

It's a "clear example" of the false pretexts used to shield officials from accountability, FPF's Seth Stern writes in @theintercept.com.
Judge Censored an ICE Agent’s Face Over “Threats.” His Info Was a Google Search Away.
After a judge agreed to keep an ICE agent’s face out of the court record, a simple internet search revealed his name and location.

#Minneapolis Personal Me: This is so much b.s. This AM, neighbors on my friend’s block foiled a kidnapping despite being assaulted and gassed. A school bus driver had to block the door to keep them from entering the bus while they were at it. 4 legal observers were kidnapped near us yesterday. 😡
