Formerly incarcerated workers are targets for discrimination and exploitation. But their struggles are often overlooked by the broader labor movement.

Katherine Passley and the staff of Beyond the Bars are working to change that—and to organize and empower criminalized workers in South Florida.

A church member at Urban Village Church sent this one along, where Mary, Joseph and Jesus are gone and replaced with a sign that reads: “Due to ICE activity in our community, the Holy Family is in hiding.”

Whoa … this is really strange.

Federal law enforcement managed to confiscate almost two tons of cocaine, and arrest 3 suspects, without blowing the boat out of the water or killing anyone.

She is as toxic as always! The same person who screwed her constituents by signing the big ugly bill, and now pretending that she cares about them by leaving Congress. The best way to help is to stay in Congress and stand up to Trump, Johnson, and the GOP! She is not brave enough for that-a coward!

Donald Trump said he’ll “be involved in” deciding if Netflix can buy Warner Bros.

Is that an open invite for CEOs to curry favor with Trump in exchange for merger approvals?

It should be an independent decision by the Department of Justice based on the law and facts.
Q: Should Netflix be allowed to buy Warner Brothers?

TRUMP: That's a question. They have a very big market share. I'll be involved in that decision

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Funny how that works.
