Coming soon to the UK if Niggle Outrage gets his way.
Disabled people tried to warn you.

We said that the rising eugenicist sentiment that accelerated during the “back to normal” phase of Covid would eventually hurt everyone

The new healthcare plan for America appears to be:

Don’t get sick

If you do get sick, it’s your fault

If you can’t pay, die

This chain is delightful. We need to do a UK version next time some deform twat starts claiming London is under Sharia law.

Shakatak law, anybody?
Mamdani is going to implement Sriracha law. Everyone will have to slather hot sauce on their scrambled eggs
Mamdani is going to implement My Sharona law. Everyone will have to create songs with undeniable rock beats.

@dismoviepod.bsky.social hey, just wanted to say again how much I enjoyed the watch party today.

How easy is to set up as a host on Hyperbeam? I'm wondering if I could set up a film club for my local ME and Long Covid charity.

What a delight to see that this news has caused a load of ignorant ableist fuckwits to pop up and boldly opine what they think disabled people should and should not have.
I really missed that after all the PIP fuss died down.

Yet another terrible BBC News headline! There is no need to 'both sides' an argument when one of the sides has already been proved wrong.

It is possible to both disagree with everything an individual stands for and, at the same time, to not incite or condone violence against that individual. Especially when the violence happens in front of their young children.

We should not enable the creation of martyrs for the far right.

Most of the population has no protection from #Longcovid as most are not masking or vaccinating, mainly due to government restrictions, poor messaging & high cost/lack of availability of private vaccines (averaging £95 in my area). Covid vaccines were designed to reduce severity of infection, they🧵

Anyone of any health status can get it. As you can see from the table above, that busts the myth on it being just the clinically vulnerable. This is just another factor like failure to rest or being female or lower income.

I'm always astounded when I hear people say "during COVID."

We just finished our second week of class and I've already have 5 students of 50 out for COVID.

We are still during COVID.

The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.

General comment:
Asking people not to say "during covid" isn't policing language. Covid is still here and still a threat, so shouldn't be talked about in the past tense.

If you're talking about a specific time then try these:
- at the start of the pandemic
- during lockdown
- before the vaccines
