OK but this bill is the result of bipartisan negotiations to fund Commerce/Justice/Science, Interior/Environment, and Energy, and is likely the best deal we're going to be able to negotiate for those agencies. It doesn't have poison pills and rejects Trump's huge proposed cuts.

This FWIW is a good example of what I am talking about. I don’t think Dan Goldman is ever going to say the words “abolish ICE” and activists should work to replace him with someone who will. But also, Goldman speaking in these terms isn’t a bad thing. It is, like I said, a good start.
