I want to see one of these reporters ask Johnson to his face, “So are you saying you have no power to lead Congress?”

The logical extension of not being able to swear her in because of precedent is he can’t do anything for which there isn’t precedent. Perhaps reflect on recent actions.

It’s difficult to know what will resonate with audiences, and franchise films appear to be a safer financial bet. In my uninformed opinion going with the safer bet too often contributes to the long term difficulty of getting folks into theaters - lack of original content leads to apathy.

To get the proverbial “butts in seats” we need more “something new.” You did it with The Black Phone; Coogler did it with Sinners. I’m part of the target audience for the nostalgia brigade, and most of these reboots/sequels just rehash the older stories with extra polish but are largely forgettable.
