Technically, I have longer ears than you. Not, obviously, as a percentage of my body height. Even if we measure bodies to the shoulder, which is mostly for horses anyway -- I mean, are you even a hand tall?

I hear you. Are these all Nikon glass? In my tiny bit of experience Nikon has much spikier flares, but I personally prefer "bloopier" flares. But yeah, the shadows are beautiful in these images.
It's amazing how these cameras each have their own "look." I'm just rambling at this point...

And actually they thought it was really funny that we described them as being "8 legged". They're like "Eyes are not legs."
So, you know, some cultural sensitivity training had to go down.

At the same time, they have to get over the idea that 2 eyes is what they call stupid spiders.

Those giant, sentient, pseudo arachnids think of themselves as having 10 legs, not 8. So, ironically they use a decimal numbering system like ours. We totally expected them to use an octal-based system when they first showed up.

Pleasant day out in my neighborhood in Chicago. There was a farmer’s market and people are out strolling, chatting, and sitting out on porches. Just like every weekend.

Except now most of us are wearing whistles to alert neighbors if unidentified guys in tactical gear show up to kidnap people.
