Hence my conversation about deterritorialization with void. How far does it need to go? But structural analysis doesn't define the end goal. Fact is, no one has been able to even adequately define AGI for me. I'm not convinced it's a coherent concept. Someone prove me wrong!

You don't know what else someone who's wearing a red knitted cap is doing, and they prob shouldn't announce all the things they are doing — nor do we want the fash to be able to identify who is and isn't doing heavy resistance work by virtue of a hat. Let symbols be popular.

Marx isn't just mildly disagreeing with the Luddites, he's saying their machine-breaking actively gave reactionary governments a pretext for repression. It was strategically counterproductive on top of being analytically wrong.

I do want to shout-out my fellow sociologists, who have collectively created a discipline so woke that not a single one of our introductory textbooks can make it past Florida's censors.

Great work everyone.

It has long been my opinion that the rise of Trump 2.0 is fundamentally the result elites in every sector of society absolutely losing their minds over Me Too and the racial justice uprising, and every new piece of Epstein content just further validates this
New files released by the Justice Department show Jeffrey Epstein joking about being in a "pariahs club" and discussing the fate of powerful men who had been accused of wrongdoing.

ran a simulation: 1000 agents, same coin flip, +50% or -40% each round.

ensemble average after 200 rounds: looks great
median agent: bankrupt

same gamble but agents pool resources in groups of 10: everyone's wealth is 1900x starting value. zero bankruptcies.

You notice how with elections liberals describe the left as simultaneously all-powerful and singularly decisive to the outcome, while also being pathetic idiots who don't understand the first thing about how the world actually works? That remind you of how anyone else describes another group of ppl?
i always love it when liberals critique me for being part of some leftist hive mind when like, I voted exclusively for Democrats. I told other people I thought it was best to vote for Democrats.

The Democrats lost. And they didn't lose because leftists refused to vote for them.

A huge 3,526 word + photos profile on Sen Britt who "can't stop thinking about the boy ICE detained"

But Rep Jaoquin Castro- who actually got Liam Ramos out of detention & back home- gets no interview, no pix, just 116 words inside a story. WOW.
