Dolly Parton has been a good person all her life. She does so many kind things for people. Compare that to someone like JK Rowling who wakes up every day and decides to be an absolute asshole.

Still think Antifa isn't violent? Here's bodycam footage of Antifa founder B.J. Blazkowicz shooting a heroic member of ICE who was just trying to protect this great nation. Thank God we have Blazkowicz's girlfriend in custody.

I keep thinking back to when I was young and idealistic right out of high school in 2000. I would never have fathomed that a quarter-century later, statements like "Hitler was a piece of shit" or "Fascism is bad, actually" would somehow become broadly politically contentious.

I don’t know how you listen to the President of the United States of America say “We took the freedom of speech away” and not demand an immediate end to the whole fucking ballgame.

Trump: "We took the freedom of speech away because that's been through the courts and the courts said you have freedom of speech, but what has happened is when they burn a flag it agitates and irritates crowds."

I don't think we'll ever get another sentence which sums up everything the New York Times embodies quite like "Some legal experts have called it a crime to summarily kill civilians".
mattcameron.bsky.social
hey @nytimes.com: there is no counterpoint here. There are no credible legal experts who would EVER say that the US military has any right or authority to blow civilian craft out of the Caribbean and kill their crews from afar without any provocation. There is no other side to this question.
"Some legal experts have called it a crime to summarily kill civilians not directly taking part in hostilities, even if they are believed to be smuggling drugs."

I just realized that the concept of an innate name means that conservatives operate on fae rules.

Bondi: "The judge also would not refer to the defendant by his biological name -- referred to him by the pronouns."

Our conservatives similarly denigrate cultural studies here on this side of the pond, and I’m 100% convinced it’s part of a concerted effort to create a populace with greater media illiteracy, which enables regimes like the Trump administration.

So, the plan is to cut English, the arts, and sociology - the degrees that actually study culture - while on another part of your platform claiming to “defend” British culture.

It’s performance nationalism with a reading age of seven.
Badenoch: Curb students taking 'rip-off' degrees such as English
The performing arts, sociology and anthropology are among the subjects the Conservatives would like to cut

In a press release, Texas Attorney General calls "transgenderism" a "corrupted ideology" that is "a cancer on our culture."

This is openly genocidal rhetoric about trans people from a sitting AG.
A press release dated October 7, 2025, with the headline: “Attorney General Ken Paxton Launches Undercover Operations to Infiltrate and Uproot Leftist Terror Cells in Texas After Increased Political Violence.” The statement claims rising left-wing violence, referencing the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and outlines Paxton’s directive for undercover investigations. A highlighted quote from Paxton reads: “Leftist political terrorism is a clear and present danger. Corrupted ideologies like transgenderism and Antifa are a cancer on our culture and have unleashed their deranged and drugged-up foot soldiers on the American people.” The text further accuses the radical Left of fostering political violence, referencing incidents involving Antifa-like groups and a supposed assassin tied to transgender movements. It also notes that President Trump designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization, with Paxton vowing sweeping investigations into radical leftist groups.

Pam Bondi is simply no match - intellectually or ethically - for Adam Schiff.

Watch this must-see clip as he dissects and exposes her pathetic performance today.

When she realizes how badly he is rolling her, she tries to interrupt. But it’s to no avail. She knows that he has her dead to rights.

"This is supposed to be an oversight hearing" -- Schiff helpfully ticks through all of the incriminating questions -- and there are many of them -- that Bondi refused to answer during today's hearing

Earlier this year, Dr. Jane Goodall sat down for an interview for Brad Falchuk’s new Netflix series, Famous Last Words.

The premise of the series is to interview people on the condition that the interview not air until the subject has passed away.
