I’m an old Midwestern white trans lesbian. I write software for a quantum computing startup. I have multiple overlapping flavors of neurodivergence.

I was raised by television in the 80s, so I’m nostalgic for pop culture of that era.

I don’t know what it is with me, but I startle super easily, and then I stay in that panic state for way too long.

it’s been 25 years or more since those days, but i’m currently alone in my basement and just thinking about those experiences is starting to put me into a nervous state

I tried it once or twice in college, and it was a terrible experience, because once I got sufficiently tired, I kept seeing shadow people out of the corner of my eye

not conducive to studying

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.
