It's not that common a letter anyway. You can get around it in most cases by usings Cs, Ks and other letters depending on how the word is pronounced

On one hand, Columbo is a police lieutenant, which is bad. On the other hand, Columbo makes more sense if you view him not as a cop but as some sort of supernatural entity, like a fey

I remember being at my grandparents’ house when my parents went on a trip to Switzerland when I’d not long turned 3, and pouring water over my dad in the garden on a scorching day a few months later
What is your earlier memory, and how old are you in it? I stole my sister's trike and mum came out and told me off. I was about 4. 1980. Like Keith Moon, I have no memories of the seventies.

It’s actually made me a bit teary-eyed to see this in my employer’s new neurodiversity policy - I feel validated by this statement!

I’d bought these two books weeks apart a few years ago, and, because of the coincidence of the titles, decided I had to read one after the other. Being sizeable books, it’s taken me a while to get to them, but they were worth the wait! @sarasheridan.bsky.social
