Chances are good that you have existing mutual aid organizations around you--in which case, help out!. In the event that you don't, know that they start with simple acts. Meet with your neighbors, collaborate, see who needs what and meet those needs. Then expand.

I was pretty shocked when I saw this map earlier today. It’s great to donate to your local food bank, but it looks like people in New Mexico will be in the most desperate need when SNAP funds run out November 1. Wherever you live, if you’re looking for a food bank to give to, consider one in NM.
