🎯 Exactly why we have been saying DEFUND & ABOLISH!!!
Once again: Focusing on their lack of training is a mistake. With "better training," their violence would simply cost more, and they would still kill whoever they wanted, but make it look more professional — to make people more comfortable, the way many of you are at ease with local police violence.
If a fishing influencer can speak out about ICE, so can you!
This ice “fish-fluencer” wants ICE to get out of Minnesota.

Nate Pischke has turned his indignation and outrage about the largest deployment of masked and armed ICE agents in US history into a call for hunters and fishermen to speak out.

"Nobody wants these ding dongs in our fucking city."

When I got the contract to write a history of concentration camps in 2014, I hoped to keep the US from ending up here. That didn't work out! But now it's critical to understand how much is already in process and the enormity of what's coming. The sooner we act to stop it, the more people we'll save.

This should come with a CW/TW because what these CHILDREN are experiencing USING OUR TAX DOLLARS is unconscionable and disgusting.
1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.

There are literal babies in these concentration camps who are experiencing unimaginable trauma and harm in their first years of life because of this racist administration!
Children as young as 9 are being forced to face the inhumane treatment imposed on them by CoreCivic and the politics of the United States that have ultimately failed them.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

Gov. Newsom @governor.ca.gov your state prison system uses racial profiling to gamble w/ppl’s lives. You’ve turned over to ICE U.S. citizens, DV survivors; ppl who’ve earned release who want to give back.

P.S. free advice: stop trying to sound like Ben Shapiro. That interview was humiliating.

Violence and dehumanization is the point. It was never, ever about safety.

“You have no reason to believe you will make it out alive if are being called A BODY”
Remember her name: Aliya Rahman

Her testimony is everything and it deserves to be heard, by everyone. Decide for yourself.

It’s powerful. It’s gut-wrenching. And no one should have to survive what she did.

Body cams on ICE isn't going to change anything. It's just another way for them to gather images of people's faces so they can refine their lists. They won't increase accountability or prevent ICE agents from shooting people. They've already done it on camera every time.

130 people sign up to speak. 128 opposed to ICE warehouse.
The overflow room at the Surprise City Council meeting has also filled up (it has a 500 person capacity). I can’t tell how many are still outside but we can hear them chanting “ICE out” in here so it seems like quite a lot.
