In 1931, millionaire Charles Eugène Bedaux embarked on an exhibition from Edmonton into northern BC. With him was his wife, mistress, cinematographer Floyd Crosby, cowboys, and lots of alcohol.
It was a disaster.

A Taiga Flycatcher, right down the street from my apartment in Vancouver. She's been here since about Xmas Day, and is the first confirmed sighting in Canada! And currently the only one in the entire hemisphere. But she's doing well, and eating all the bugs!
