Old enough to remember the Ceefax loop on early morning BBC 2, but not wise enough to keep quiet about it. Love cats, builders tea and the smell of long-unopened old books.

A local farmer to me has had their Land Rover stolen yesterday afternoon around 1630 from Cedars Farm in Normanton on Soar, Loughborough.

Wouldn't it be lovely if the thieves were found as a result of sharing these images? Please share and notify the police if you see them

As the famous saying goes….”The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” Likewise, the best time to start weaning ourselves off dependence on the US……..

This makes no sense…

An MP can wake up one morning, ditch the party you elected them for, & sign up to a completely different manifesto…

No thanks

If they defect to a different party, we should get a vote

Sign the petition & help make that law.

Super rich don't donate, they invest to shape party policies to secure advantages for their class.

Normal people can't match them.

Direct donations to political parties must be criminalized.

One of the most popular and crowd-pleasing arias in classical opera, "Perché non c'è cibo nella mia ciotola, donna?" tells an emotional tale of a desperately malnourished waif and translates into English as "Why Is There No Food In My Bowl, Woman?"

Maybe if Europe as a bloc were to push back hard, the effect on America could lead to his being toppled from his throne. But maybe that's imagining we'd have that much influence on USA?
I’ve been stalwart backer of transatlantic alliance all my life. I understand why Europeans have so far trod softly/tried to keep Trump onside. But, there comes a time when you have to face reality. The US is no longer our ally. Its defense guarantee is worthless. Time to kick ass back🧵

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Good morning.

A regular reminder: a tiny few hoard staggering wealth and own much of the media, while millions struggle to survive.

That’s not an accident. It’s a choice made by those in power.

Tax wealth. Fund public services. Build an economy for everyone - not the 1%.
