Whelp. The utility of any and all Gallup polling now - at best - suspect forever. Bootlickers. They’ll bring that poll back the second this administration is gone
Imagine if Gallup had just suddenly and "coincidentally" decided to stop collecting presidential approval data when Biden hit his polling lows.

To be clear, I am on team concentration camps are bad. However, if you voted for them, you should have to shoulder the burden of their existence.

This is one of those critical stories that most people aren’t going to follow because it’s not flashy or the awful center of years of conspiracy theories on both sides of the aisle. But it -is- important and worth telling people to keep eyes on, especially your moderate/independent/centrist friends

Production Costs: $40mn
Marketing Spend: $35mn
Total Investment: $75mn
Gross weekend box: $8mn

ROI (1st weekend): –89.3% 😭

So sure, strong weekend numbers, and actually a massive failure. Let’s circle back after total gross minus exhibitor splits to see how big a failure.
It's on track to have the highest opening weekend box office of any documentary in more than a decade, which in the context of movie box office numbers, is strong! The movie is a stupid vanity project but an actually surprising number of tickets are being sold to it
So the NYT calls this movie, that is on track to lose $50-60 million, a "strong showing".
We're on our own out here folks.

We can definitely stop using 44 & 46 as "what if" examples... one couldn't wear a tan suit & the other couldn't stumble over words without getting bashed for it.
Once again, imagine if the Biden or Obama White House arrested a Fox News reporter and posted this.

Impeachment votes would be held within 48 hours.

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

🎶Immunity is not a permanent legal condition. It is a political arrangement that survives only as long as the regime that grants it.🎶

🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.

this is just conservatism, no understanding of the systems they benefit from and constant false victimhood
It's so exhausting to to be constantly told by American leaders that the defining policy of the 80 odd years during which the US became the most wealthy and powerful country in the history of the world was a grossly unfair failure for them.
US trade secretary Howard Lutnick really not mincing his words here at Davos: "We are here to make a v clear point: globalisation has failed the West and the USA. It's a failed policy. It's what the WEF has stood for, which is, export, offshore, find the cheapest labour in the world."

i was talking with someone in the twin cities about how it’s not even accurate to call them protesters. they’re literally just people protecting their city from TERRORISTS.
Every time the Trump regime uses the words "funded protesters" and "outside agitators" news outlets need to cut to this photo from last week.

ICE has invaded these communities. Outside agitators don't show up in their fucking bathrobes.

Liberals are undefeated in the realm of purity politics and semantic fixation. You’re absolutely being pedantic.

It’s not inaccurate to colloquially refer to perpetrators of state-sponsored terror as terrorists. People need to save this BS for their stints on dissertation committees
Not to be pedantic, but I'm a little hesitant to use terrorism as a frame for ICE. Terrorists act outside the law, while it's not even clear that what ICE is doing is illegal according to U.S. law. Better to describe them as something like stormtroopers or gestapo in my opinion.
