these right wing clowns continuing to express absolute shock over the organizing of the left also reflects a deeply sexist ignorance of the fact that EXPERIENCED, INCREDIBLY EFFICIENT AND HARDWORKING VOLUNTEERS, PRIMARILY WOMEN, RUN THE FUCKING SHOW WITH ALMOST EVERYTHING GOOD IN THIS COUNTRY
I mostly just stay off Twitter altogether but after double checking that the Walter Hudson post was still up I ran across this and just had to share so the Romancelandians who bought hand warmers could hear about the PROFESSIONAL GRADE LOGISTICS.

I think a lot of us get hope wrong. Hope, I do not believe, is an emotion. In fact, hope makes space for lots of emotions to exist alongside it. You can DO hope scared, angry, sad etc...

Hope doesn't find us. We make hope through action and struggle. It's a practice of living and is re-made daily.

Absolutely reprehensible that AG Bondi is offering ICE stand down in exchange for access to voting rolls. Outrageous and disgusting. It shows ICE is in Minneapolis is not for law enforcement purposes. Instead it’s a way to stir up shit in blue states and extort them.
In the wake of another fatal shooting in Minneapolis.
AG Pam Bondi sends Gov. Walz a letter today making several asks including:
"Allow DOJ Civil Rights division access to state voter rolls"

5 year olds belong with their families, not alone in a detention facility. Abolish ICE is the moderate position. This is not right.

Even in the depths of colonialism, genocide, enslavement, ethnic cleansing & holocaust, there have been white folks all over who have refused and resisted white supremacy.

We get to choose which ancestors we honor. One of my ancestors was an enslaver who sold my foremother. *I don't claim his ass.*

Respectfully, I am going to whisper to some of our white comrades a truth that should be more widely known: You definitely have some ancestors to be proud of, ancestors who refused white supremacy, and poured out their lives in many of these struggles over time.

Time to claim your true history.

BREAKING: A federal judge dismissed the U.S. Department of Justice's lawsuit aimed at forcing California to turn over sensitive personal data of the state's voters.

This is good news. Voters should never have to choose between our privacy and our right to participate in our democracy.

When we look at what he might do with the midterms, it is useful to keep these distinctions in mind. Trump has essentially no ability to exercise direct authority on federal elections. He cannot even pressure states into giving him voting rolls. (8/?)

The crash happens the same day Trump's Department of Transportation has begun an attempt to abolish speed cameras in DC.

People can’t afford childcare the way previous generations could. Babysitting culture is pretty much gone. Everyone is burnt out, overstimulated, and stretched thin…and that’s exactly why folks end up bringing their kids into places that were never meant for kids in the first place.
