I don’t think Larian understood that when they casually talk about their use of genAI it wasn’t spoken into a board room or a zoom call full of people thinking about numbers, it was to a host of fans who looked to them as an example of humanity and art persisting in spite of things like that.

I remember a post from someone who brought a teacher to a mostly-male D&D session. She gave out compliments and cheered the players on in a way the men in the group really ate up. Funny how “hug your kids more so they don’t become emotionally starved weirdoes” might be world-saving advice.

I've been using an MP3 player for months now and I gotta say it's really refreshing. When I get new music, I connect it to my computer and load it up. Does it take more time than just using my phone? Absolutely, but life isn't supposed to be fast paced. Take your time and appreciate the small things
