It’s really important that every time we read about these “detentions” we recognize that this isn’t simply a matter of freedom. These people are being “detained” in horrific terrifying conditions that are inhumane and are an assault on our own morality in addition to these kids.

Journalists really don't need to use ICE's preferred term of "warehouse" to describe the new concentration camps. Not only is it euphemistic, but you're doing ICE's work of dehumanizing the people who will be held there.
