This is one of the things that I find is most shocking to people outside Minnesota who don’t realize it yet—the scale at which everyone who isn’t white has been forced into a spectrum of hiding.

i will die on the hill that this is actually the biggest thing about taxes. you should love public health. you should get stupid pumped over student loans being subsidized. social security should have gold plating.
this is a small thing but it would be nice to feel good about paying taxes. i would like to write a check to the government and think about kids going to school and freshly paved roads not all the death squads my income helps fund.
