I reread some of my own fic and I liked it. It could use editing but I always find mistakes so I always say that.

I think I've come to the conclusion that me liking my own fic more often than not means I'm mentally healthy at some level? I'm able to enjoy my own work instead of hating it...

So this IL Hospital Association memo describes an incident where ICE detained a US citizen, gave them HEART PROBLEMS, took them to a hospital where the fought with medical personnel, then left when they realized they detained a CITIZEN.

Although I wish legislators would talk to social workers who see this sort of behavior happen at smaller scales. Then they might get better insight into the dynamics of how abusers work.
