sitcom about Khamenei going to Moscow and befriending the now-ophtalmologist-again Assad called Eye To Ay'
Tbf I imagine Khameini would probably enjoy this a lot. He’s said before that his favourite hobby is reading Russian novels

The coalition of the willing is spending too much time on hypothetical postwar scenarios and not enough on pressuring Russia to actually end its war on Ukraine.

Without that pressure, the war will continue and postwar plans will be worthless

We can either live in a world made by 14-year-old boys who never grew up, for 14-year-old boys who never grew up, or maybe OFCOM could finally act like an actual regulator?

Let’s play along…

Say the US did abduct Maduro because Venezuela was supposedly a terrorist narco‑state

Since when does that become a licence for the US to help themselves to the oil?

Labour justice minister destroys Robert Jenrick for the Tories complete and utter failure in our prisons across their 14 years in office.

Very well said @alexdaviesjones.bsky.social - a brilliant Labour junior minister.

You can't even illegally invade a country, kidnap its leader and seriously undermine the international rule-based order nowadays without people complaining. It's geopolitical correctness gone mad.

There is no good quick response to the biggest mafia boss threatening the neighbourhood as domestic law enforcement in many countries knows. And that is what we are dealing with on a global scale.

I just don't think there is a good line. The reality is we're completely boxed in, especially given the priority is protecting Ukraine. You could try and point to that being the priority I guess + encourage viewers to make the connection.

Maybe His Dark Materials? Failing that, why not Harry Frankfurt’s On Bullshit
Ok, everyone, what book is sacred enough to you to get sworn in on?
Strange takes on Mayor Zamdani swearing his oath on the Qu’ran. It has nothing to do with church & state. The point of the oath is for the person swearing in to do so upon some text that is sacred TO THEM. Some Presidents swore in w/o any book. John Quincy Adams was sworn on a law book. His choice.

Arsene Wenger, Knight Grand Commander of the Humane Order of African Redemption, sir, you have done it again!
Arsene Wenger playing the long game again. Signed Granit Xhaka in 2016 just so he could be ready in 2025 to lead Sunderland to an important draw against City. Amazing really…maybe…if you squint a bit.

I’m not sure I like this new #traitors twist, it takes almost all agency away from the real traitors. That said, if they get them voted out, the reveal will be genuinely entertaining!

What I want is a TV documentary channel entirely devoted to documentaries with no quick-cut montages of everything about to happen, which don't give a fuck about keeping my attention, presented by extremely knowledgeable people in a terrible mood who have no interest in trying to make me like them.
