in an ideal world the trauma this couple went through *shouldnt* resonate stronger than a latino family terrorized by ice. but we dont live in that world. we live in the real world. so i applaud it when the most minnesota people possible link arms with us and FIGHT like this.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
