We were last in line to get a table at a trendy restaurant in Portugal and let the two teenage girls behind us who looked like they were gonna cry go ahead. The host guy set up a whole ass other table for us and got our food out 20 min before everyone else’s lol
Being nice to people is just fun. Asked young server at taco place how her day was going (fine but tired) and she asked me back. I said I managed to finish my to-do list and she unexpectedly gave me a high five! Treating people like people is always rewarding.
