Talk about the feds trying to boss the states around and commandeer them, which the Supreme Court has made clear violates the 10th Am. This is a down-the-middle state function that the feds have no business monkeying in, let alone trying to control.

Anti-vaxxers are counting on the rest of the society to protect them while refusing to do their own part to upkeep society's ability to actually do that. We're at a breaking point where society just can't protect these anti-vaxxers, or anyone else, from the consequences of their bad choices anymore

When Streeting et al says "there's no evidence of the effectiveness of PBs", what he's actually saying is "there's no evidence that Puberty Blockers are the only way."

Not easy to get to sleep tonight - have burnt the bridge of whatever career I had left and really don’t feel that my opinions are so extreme that that should have been necessary
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

If my organization had no space for the fundamental decency of Robin Ince then I would probably start asking deeply searching questions about the goals of that organization.
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.
