Hey so everyone read The Starving Saints by @caitlinstarling.com. It's unbelievable. Staggeringly gorgeous, grisly, raw...I am gnawing on the bars of my enclosure about it. Thank you for listening to this very important PSA.

Very excited that my first narrative film is not only premiering on @shudder.com tomorrow, but that it's also getting so many screenings!! Being a 30-minute film I didn't expect it to get any theatrical play, so the fact that all these venues programmed it to support features is a huge deal to me.🖤
Upcoming screenings for THE OCCUPANT OF THE ROOM, beginning tomorrow with its premiere on @shudder.com as part of annual series THE HAUNTED SEASON (in all their territories!)
Scan through the list to see if it is coming to a theatre near you!

It's a crime that films like THE DARK AND THE WICKED didn't get a theatrical release. It's time to fix it!
@variety.com just announced @filmbot.bsky.social's “Lost Films of COVID” a run of 2020-21 movies that missed their shot at the big screen. I've harbored a pipe dream of creating the PandemiFest, a touring fest of horror films lost to COVID. Which films would I put on the cyclorama? Here's my top 20!

The death of two national guardsmen is a horrific tragedy.

It is also an orchestrated tragedy by a president hellbent on creating a tinder box environment across the country.

THEY PEPPER SPRAYED A BABY

Please read this entire excellent piece by Caroline, which points out that a judge ordered the Feds (again) to stop doing **this exact kind of thing** and they are still continuing to do it all over Chicago
Arianna Sofia Veraza and her parents were driving to Sam's Club for milk, eggs and diapers yesterday when they heard helicopters and horns blaring yesterday. They had turned around to leave when a federal agent pepper-sprayed them through a car window.

Pepper-sprayed Berwyn family rattled after getting caught up in federal blitz
Southwest Side politicians condemned Saturday’s pepper spraying and the federal sweep of Little Village as “state-sponsored terrorism” at a news conference Sunday.
