So sleep drunk this morning that at one point I turned my heated blanket on instead of snoozing my alarm. Then proceeded to tap the hour number on my phone screen instead of snoozing my alarm

Guys, as a ex call center employee, this is fucking DESPERATION BEHAVIOR.

Pizza and ice cream once may be an entire year's planned discretionary budget for a team, they do NOT value them enough to provide common comfort. If their doing this? Their not just scared, their TERRIFIED.
Spoke with a source who told me the call volume is so high, a call center for both Mastercard & Visa is bringing out pizza and ice cream so agents don’t quite amid the rush. Long waits are causing dropped calls.

What you’re doing is working. Call MC & Visa.

GULA has just under a week left to back it. If you’re into epics or post apocalypse settings check it out!
Help me fund epic poem GULA: A Poem For The End Times on BackerKit! A modernist/post-modernist long-form poem, GULA explores Carrion City, a place where the lost and forsaken end up and rarely leave -- a mirror city to the world of the beloved and treasured.

I swear I was trying to make a point with this 😂

like “support indie authors by buying their books / sharing their posts because they might give up if people don’t show interest in their work (unless they’re insane, though it’s still very nice to support the insane authors too)”
all authors can’t be like me (insane and/or willing to keep writing & publishing books when only 10 people on the entire earth are willing to pay money to read them)

Hey! Remember this thread? Well. If you're buying books on Black Friday, please consider getting some of these. I've even put together a list of ones on this list that are on @bookshop.org for ease of finding.

Alright. Today is my birthday (and tbh it has sucked so far). But. I promised a thread of books by friends. And I am going to make good on that.

Please consider buying books from friends today. Thread below. Storefronts may vary. I'm just linking where I know the books are.

It's A Month of Rain & Reads, and the world is dreadful and grey.

To bring some light, we have an interview with Helen Whistberry ( @whistberry.bsky.social ), author of today's giveaway prize, When Your Heart Is A Broken Thing.

🌟 new review 🌟

From @whistberry.bsky.social comes a collection of horror, dark fantasy, and sci-fi short stories told like the grimm fairytales of old.
With art between each story it's a delight for the mind and the eye.

SATURDAY: is small business Saturday

Don’t forget to check out this thread!!

It’s getting closer to holiday sales and shopping. Instead of spending money at a big box store or putting money in a billionaires pocket… shop small!!

If you have a small business or are a small time creator (that means artists and indie authors too!) share your links/work below.

Literally all of society hates this abominable scam homunculus and the weird little death cult bubble of vampiric losers who spewed it forth upon the world. Take a break from bragging about how gullible you are and give yourself a swirlie and stuff yourself in a locker and sort yourself out.

My stance of piracy is quite simple

Be Robin Hood
Dont be Prince John

You take from the Rich to give to the Poor
You dont go around demanding the Poor to give you shit just because you feel entitled to it.
Its really that fuckin simple
