Meet Donald Lump, my foramen magnum meningioma. A thread.
I had a weirdly hard time trying to find this video - they really need a consistent hashtag or something.

#DontGiveUpTheShip
We want to speak directly to members of the Military and the Intelligence Community.

The American people need you to stand up for our laws and our Constitution.

Don’t give up the ship.

THANK FUCK.
The Coast Guard reversed its 'swastikas aren't all that bad' policy just hours after the Washpost broke the story.

It's both surprising, and good, to see that one government agency these days is capable of being embarrassed, and changing course quickly.

In reversal, Coast Guard again classifies swastikas, nooses as hate symbols
The new order came hours after The Post reported the service would instead classify such symbols as “potentially divisive” under guidelines set for release next month.

I need to start doing this - I love this concept.
I went back to a reflection from a year ago this week after reading @asv.bsky.social's Becoming an Everyday Changemaker and decided to lean on "Vent diagrams" again—a both/and practice that forces me to leave space in the center that I really don't have the words for.

Here's where I'm at right now:

I'm not sure whether to put this on the "fucking horrifying" list, or the "fucking gross" list.
DOJ is now recruiting for immigration judges by calling them “deportation judges.”

That’s seems really bad.

Motherfucker.
BREAKING: White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt just announced the Trump administration will close the Department of Education.

Schools, teachers, and students nationwide are now facing uncertainty like never before.

If only...

All that is required for evil to flourish is that good men do nothing... (Burke)

Men have been doing nothing but moaning about "#MeToo" and claiming "not all men". Meanwhile other men have been participating.

CNN with the fact check!! More of this!!
😳😳😳

Democrat lawmakers tell military to refuse “illegal”orders in a video.

Karoline Leavitt lies about what the Democrats said in the video at the White House press briefing.

When Kaitlan Collin’s tells Leavitt “that’s not what they said’, Leavitt literally runs out of the room.

Per the regime‘s

Nursing is no longer counted as a 'professional degree' by Trump admin
The Department of Education has excluded nursing as a "professional degree" program as it implements various changes to student loans.

Straight out of the fucking playbook.
This is what the Nazis did.

They blamed the Jews for everything to make them the enemy of the people.

It allowed them to commit atrocities.

Undocumented immigrants are not the reason for any of these problems, they’re a scapegoat.

Hold the billionaires, corporations & ruling class accountable

Due to an extended lunch with the superintendent, I wasn't able to make it for your observation, so I've rescheduled it for the day before Thanksgiving break. Please have a full, bell-to-bell lesson plan for the minimum day schedule, thanks!

and a guy whose brain was literally partially eaten by a worm is working to undermine that and get people killed

Looking at the math on my post from the other day, you can see just how much rests on what the Republican majority on SCOTUS does next about Texas.
Where we're at

Helps GOP
—TX: 5 seats toward GOP
—OH:2 seats toward GOP, but also 1 toward Dems
—NC: 1 Dem seat to likely GOP

Helps Dems
—CA: 5 seats toward Dems
—UT: 1 seat flips Dem

?
—MO: 1 seat to GOP... but veto referendum?
—VA: Dems trying
—FL: GOP maybe

GOP push stalls:

Clay Higgins was the only member of the House to vote against releasing the Epstein files.

His record also includes allegedly putting a gun to the head of one of his ex-wives, voting for a neo-Nazi, and assaulting an unarmed Black man while working as a cop.
