I think it’s pretty likely Bari Weiss quits far sooner than anyone expects because if there’s anything we learned from her tenure at the New York Times it’s that this lady hates working, absolutely despises it, and she probably had to send like four emails today

So, you ask, if they can’t just do a simple thing like release the files as the law requires, how can we trust them to do hard things like run the economy and keep us safe?

The answer, of course, is that we can’t. We can never trust they can and will do the right thing.
Lawless shambolic shitshow.
WASHINGTON (AP) — At least 16 files from Epstein release disappeared from DOJ webpage, including photo of Trump, with no explanation.

Tens of thousands of Omahans have dangerous levels of lead in their yards, experts say. Growing momentum to do more cleanup in what is already the nation’s largest residential lead Superfund site now…

The ruling allows Florida to continue with the lowest standard for the death penalty in the nation, requiring just 8 out of 12 jurors to agree on death.
Just in: Florida's supreme court today has UPHELD a recent state law that enables juries to sentence someone to death nonunanimously.

Bolts reported on FL's law a few years ago, amid huge concern that nonunanimous convictions have a high error rate, & are likelier to sideline Black jurors.

The conspiracy by this Court to replace our founding charter with dictatorship isn’t funny, but:

“Every time Trump makes a shadow docket appeal he might as well shout ‘By the power of Greyskull!’, because he’s about to transform from a feeble man who can’t grip a glass with one hand into HE-Man.”
The Supreme Court's use and abuse of the Shadow Docket is *how* Chief Justice John Roberts legitimizes Donald Trump's authoritarian takeover of the government.

And guess what?

The FCC immediately changed the website to state that the agency is not independent right after Carr's comments!
