Every Hand’s a Loser

A digital, pencil-style drawing of Lou, a skinny wasian cowgirl with a black bob and cyan skin, falls throughout an oversized queen of hearts card. She is wearing a dingy green bra, red cowboy boots, and an embarrassed expression.

most decades don't start until a few years in but i believe that the 90s only actually lasted from roughly 1993 to 1998

Rest in peace, Drew Struzan. His movie posters are much more than marketing. They're some of the finest pop art you'll ever see. Look at this masterpiece:

Cis Straight white guys can be the header for movies that tank and then be the lead actor again and again and again. Their failure isn't their fault it's something else. It's certainly not get unwoke get broke. It's certainly not audiences don't want cis str8 white leads. It's something else somehow

Something I love that was especially precious pre-widespread internet adoption is moments where you got into some kind of important books/ movies/ music/ art in general that was otherwise unavailable from you. Like a friend who made you That One Mixtape, your random video rental one time, etc
#11 Hollywood Shuffle

Funny as hell. There’s work at the post office.

#10 Little Murders

Elliot Gould is one of the funniest guys to ever do it. Based on a play by the same name! This sort of surrealist comedy is my fave!

Rock does a pretty good job here. I think it’s funny to use a bunch of guys playing themselves who are 25 years older than they were, and not actors, but these guys talk really stiffly in real life, so their bad acting kinda…is how they are irl…so idk.

Tron Aries was always going to be bad but lost me when they were like "would you like to see Jared Leto in a movie set outside of the computer?"

I've been humbled by people I've never even met hanging my art in their homes. During hard times, strangers have written to me to tell me my art was important to them. I've gotten to know people from all over the world who I'm grateful to call my friends. Social media made all of this possible
Has anything great happened in your life because of social media?

Not really sure what the point of this movie is other than anti-defense attorney propaganda lmfao but I’m glad Al Pacino had a nice time. He’s acting his 5’6” ass off. Take a shot every time he makes a wide eye boogeyman face at the camera. Also Charlize Theron is TWENTY TWO here.

And then you see it. As it strangles and beats your friends to death... the sweetest most courageous people in the world. You see the fear and power in its eyes. Then you *know*. That the bourgeois are not human.

Eight thousand iterations of this discourse later, there is no political utility in calling fascists fat. All you're doing is propping up the brutal hierarchy which lets people like them work up from deniable social torture to state violence.
guys this website makes it hella easy to do alt text and even prompts you, you should be doing it
